Full Draft Breakdown Profile

PROS: Freakishly long wingspan allows him to win jump ball situations. Physical press corner. Sheds blocks with ease. Good in run support. Possesses sound tackling technique. Highly productive, and displays enough speed to be a pick six threat anytime he snags a pick. Good hands for a cornerback. Displays nice football instincts. Appeared to be comfortable when playing safety. Can read a quarterback's eyes. Has ability to contribute on special teams. Overall, just impressive in game tape.

CONS: Occasionally draws pass interference calls. Level of competition is a concern and struggles throughout Senior Bowl week didn't help matters. A bit stiff in the hips and lacks speed to make up ground, therefore is susceptible to getting burnt. In order to convert to safety, Hall would ideally need to bulk up.

BOTTOM LINE: Intelligent, gritty and feisty. Fits the mold of the modern NFL cornerback. Conversion or not, serves as an interesting prospect with starting potential, but will need time to develop.

Full Draft Breakdown Profile

PROS: Physical, press cornerback. Possesses effective jab. Has ideal bulk and has proven to be durable and reliable. Has displayed some ball skills. Solid in run support, good tackler. Was a special teams standout at Minnesota. Improved as college career went on, particularly in the last two seasons. Has solid technique and can generally run step-for-step with receivers. High effort. Has ability excel in man or zone coverage.

CONS: Drew too many pass interference calls. Has tight hips, thus at times struggles to change directions. At times struggles against faster receivers; his best chance is to smother them at the line. Lacks ideal height. Struggles to disengage from blocks on run plays.

BOTTOM LINE: Played well against NFL caliber talent, which bodes well for his transition. Slightly smaller than his playing style would indicate. Likely converts to a slot cornerback at the next level.
