Donald Trump for President: The Neo-Fascist Regime We Deserve (Satire)

The United States of America is dying. For seven long years, president Barack Obama has reigned over this country, primarily passing acts that promoted an ethical rather than political agenda. He has tried to promote job growth, tax relief, and the detraction of military involvement in the Middle East.

Worse yet, he has taken early steps to follow the world's lead and promote universal health care. Then despite the need for action, he has spent his second term largely concerned with smoothing over US relations with other countries, promoting fair-treatment domestic polities, and spearheading talks on global climate change.

It is truly a time for change, a time to bring back the greatness that was once the United States of America, and no one promotes that lasting change quite like leading GOP candidate Donald Trump.
Isn't it great the political world has become so forgiving in this day and age? In 2004, Democratic candidate Howard Dean was an early front runner for the presidential nomination before he was sunk by media bias, mocked and parodied for an excited speech that he ended with a high pitched, cracked scream of joy.

While he may not have won the candidacy even without the incident, it was an instant assassination of his chances that completely overshadowed all of his political views. This was not the first and will not be the last time a person is sunk by media coverage and character attacks rather than political experience and vision.

This year though, we have seen a real turnaround by the American public. Donald Trump is a television star who is now on his third marriage, a billionaire with an outrageous personality, and a clearly articulated racist and sexist. The man has been a walking meme since the early 2000s.
The Simpsons were joking about the ridiculousness of Trump becoming president back in 2000. Still, Trump has done the unthinkable and risen above all of it to get so close to a presidential nomination with very little political tact.

It's truly incredible to know that in the US today you can become so popular and rise above the rest by being racist, sexist, belligerent, and self-entitled. This is all because Trump has never backed down from his every claim to make this country great through the many moral ideals he holds dear.

Instead of struggling to hold together relations with many antagonistic countries around the world, Trump has given the American people a vision of a world where the US rule over all. He proposes a fundamental neo-fascist regime that truly change the way the US is forever viewed by the other global superpowers.

As politicians continue to lie to the American public, Trump does not speak with any conceit behind his words as he promises to build a wall to stop illegal immigrants as well as answer terrorism with widespread prejudice against anyone with Muslim heritage that is not a US citizen.

As some Trump supporters clearly articulate, Trump has shown people the light about illegal immigrants "taking the money out of my pockets", a president in Obama who is "too much of a Muslim", and a growing sense that "no one is looking out for the white guy anymore" (quotes from CNN).

Even though he has spent much of his career affiliated with and supporting Democrats, at the first chance to gain a political foothold, Trump jumped right into the Republican candidate race and took hold of the race with an iron fist. That takes true initiative that we have certainly been lacking for decades.

Just ask former vice president nominee Sarah Palin who formerly backed well respected presidential nominee John McCain about Trump and not so long ago said that immigrants should all "speak American": "He is beholden to no one but we the people -- how refreshing." (from CBS News)

We can only hope that after these seven years of Obama that our government will finally find its footing with a true radical who may make the rest of the United Nations laugh at first but soon weep for seeing how great he can make this country once he has closed its doors and rallied a sea of politicians into seeing his view on the world.
