Copy & Paste News: King Wade Bad News Barrett Rumored To Leave WWE

2/16/2016

Per the internets, Triple H announced a brand new Cruiserweight tournament to take place in July (only on the WWE network, $9.99, get your first month free, etc etc).

But nevermind that shit, Wade Barrett - notably known for his role in the film Dead Man Down - is rumored to have given his notice to WWE.
Keep your shoulders intact, lads, I know this is heavy.

After clawing his way through the European circuit over six years ago, Barrett has been an established name in WWE's midcard and nowhere else (outside of the previously mentioned, Oscar-worthy acting performance).

One would call him...KING of the midcard, perhaps?...

Here's a list of his extraordinary accomplishment:
  • Won the first season of the NXT game-show
  • Leader of the revolutionary group Nexus
  • Leader of the revolting group The Corre
  • 2015 King Of The Ring Tournament Winner
  • 5-Time Intercontinental Champion
  • Once witnessed John Cena no-sell a DDT on concrete floor and managed not to quit his job right there and then.
It's a shame that he's not going to defeat his NXT-mentor Chris Jericho's record for most Intercontinental Championship title reigns. Jericho taught his apprentice in the art of losing every important match ever, then winning the least important title afterwards.

Where does Mr. Stu Bennett go from here?

He'd certainly be a sensation in ICW and the English independents. He could be a great gaijin and probably could pass for a street fighter in Lucha Underground. He and Drew Galloway can main-event TNA One-Night-Only PPV specials for the next three years.

There are even reports out there (that I'm not crediting at all) that state Dana White and UFC have lured a WWE superstar over to their roster. I assume Dana is preparing for CM Punk's second MMA fight after Mickey Gall takes a fall for him.

Excuse me now, I have to go. Apparently, Stu tore his other shoulder after tweeting this afternoon.
